  Bramley Cooking Apple

The ideal English cooking apple.  Bramley apples can grow to 100mm + (4 inches) in diameter. They are used in many recipes such as stews, curries, apple cake, apple pie and the old family favourite apple crumble, or just simply baked with sultanas and brown sugar delicious!  They can also be sliced, blanched then frozen, to be used at a later date.

The trees that are available for sponsorship were planted in 1974 and can be easily picked from the ground.  You could expect to harvest, in a good growing year, approximately 50kg (110lbs) of fruit from one sponsored tree.
